Happy New Year, fellow gardeners! Greetings from very cold (wind-chill 20's)NC!
It's so bad, in fact, that today I'm going to cover my eucalyptus tree, and mulch my bougainvillea because tonight is going to be even colder. And, of course, this weekend we'll be back into the 60's.
I am planning ahead for Spring. Pepper plants are high on my list for both Florida and my NC gardens. I will be in CT in late Spring (Heather and I may shove off for 'gay Paree'!, or not) and would like to plant a little something to watch grow. However, I've never had good luck with anything at my Guilford home - any advice
    is gratefully received!

Heather: Love that new weeder and all your goodies! Don't fret over the rosemary although they are pricey! Probably powdery mildew! If you do get another try putting it in a spot with really good air circulation and even one of those small fans is not a bad idea! Your tree is lovely! Also, even though your amaryllis is a bit orange, it is gorgeous! Enjoy your game!

Hey, Heather. Hope you're coming to the Spring Fling in Austin!

I've been a bad blogger! I'll get inspired soon. Right now I'm entering photography competitions. Probably get blown out of the water, but hey, you never know.

Mom -- I talk to you all the time, so I'm not responding to you here. Though I'm not getting the going to Paris thing.

Layanee -- Way too much effort for a house plant in my house. Rosemary is just not going to make it chez Heather. Totally beat Mario Galaxy in two days, actually started over from the beginning. Now that I'm back at work, I can't play or else I'll be sucked back in!

Susan -- I've given it a lot of thought, but I don't see how I can get to Austin, but I really want to go. I've always wanted to go to Austin even before the whole Spring Fling came up. Maybe, but for right now, not planning on it.

Heather: You're way too hard on yourself! I give myself three chances to kill a plant before I banish it! I think I have killed two rosemarys so far! LOL Understandable! Want to go to Logee's sometime in the next month? Would be fun!
