    The violets are lovely. The picture is almost a 'still-life' portrait.
    Forsythia without sun is probably more technically correct, but both views are pretty.
    Of all your pix, I like the purple-tinged
    hosta best. Was does it look like fully emerged?

    Mom -- I think it's just a plain old blue/green hosta, but we'll have to wait and see once the leaves unfurl.

    Life is in the details. I can't decide on the forsythia shots. There is so much going on in the garden which is out of sync. Love the fungus.

    Layanee -- I'm glad you're a little thrown by the garden/weather stuff going on. I'm still so new to paying attention to the change of seasons that it's hard to know how unusual this is. It's the strangest of the 4 springs I've been gardening, but that's not saying much.
