I could stare at poppies all day:

The morning glory leaves are being eaten by something (and I'm pretty sure they're not getting enough sun here and that's why they're not flowering):

Poppies are easy to look at and the buds are so curious! The bugs are definitely out and chomping. I have found it takes quite a while for the morning glories to flower so maybe you will get some in the future. Love the spider and web!

Layanee -- Thanks for the advice on the morning glories, I won't worry as much now.
Anne -- We have friends who garden (and garden quite well) who have come over and scolded me for growing them on purpose.
